Being a UK 29er Class Association member will ensure you are kept up to date with class activities, enjoy exciting competitive racing at major venues across the UK, and benefit from a top class training programme that can take you from your first days in the boat through to competing at the highest level on the national and international stage. Our class sponsors offer member discounts and you will be notified of these through our news letters. All class members can benefit from a reduction in their boat insurance if they insure their 29er through Class Sponsors Noble Marine.

Individual Membership costs just £50 for 12 months and Family Membership just £80. For members aged 19-24 in full-time education we have a Student Membership that costs just £34 for 12 months.

Membership of the UK 29er Class Association is governed by our constitution.

Individual Adult/Youth Membership

This is a full membership and entitles the member to enter all UK 29er Class Association Grand Prix Series, National Championships, and other National events and to take part in any open coaching programmes organised by the class. Please note that participation in racing and coaching events is at additional cost.

Family Membership

This is a full membership for any named individual within a direct family (i.e. siblings or parent/guardian and their children), normally living at the same address, and where one of the children is aged 18 or under at the date of joining (for a new membership) or at the date of renewal (for a continuing membership). Family Members enjoy the same entitlements as Individual Adult and Youth Members.

Student Membership

This is a full membership for any individual in full-time education who is aged 19 or over, and 24 or under at the date of joining (for a new membership) or at the date of renewal (for a continuing membership). Student Members enjoy the same entitlements as Individual Adult and Youth Members.
